Thats odd. The reason im asking is because I'm on fesfilms.com and they have quite near the entire series for sale.

Video Cellar's answer on Adventures of Robin Hood appears to be tied to the Copyright Act of 1956. Here's the answer:

http://www.archive.org/post/271641/for-the-3rd-time-a-question-for-video-cellar

"Under UK law (in schedule 1 of the act), all broadcasts made before 1 June 1957 are exempt from copyright. So all episodes of Robin Hood up to Season 2 Episode 35 (The Infidel) remain in the US public domain. The others are copyright due to GATT/URAA. All of season 3 and 4 and the last 4 episode of Season 2 are copyright. "

As the last episode of Sir Lancelot aired April 20, 1957, we're okay.
